We joined the Tutty Fruity 1.0 Fun Run 6KM & Agro Tani & Food Carnival at the SLDB West Region Office in Keningau to promote our BSF larvae frass organic fertiliser, and welcomed the SLDB General Manager and the Sabah Director of Agriculture to our booth.

On Saturday, 22 August 2026, Hermetia Illucens Sdn. Bhd. took part in the Tutty Fruity 1.0 Fun Run 6KM & Agro Tani & Food Carnival, held from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) West Region Office in Keningau.

Our goal at the carnival was to promote and introduce our Frass Organic Fertiliser — a natural soil amendment produced from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae — to farmers, agro-entrepreneurs and the local community. Throughout the day, visitors to our booth learned how BSF larvae convert organic waste into nutrient-rich frass and how it can be used to improve soil health and crop yields.

We were honoured to welcome Datuk Syaheddrul R. Joddari, General Manager of the Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB), together with Tuan Jackson R. Jaimi, Director of Agriculture Sabah, on their visit to the HIBSF booth. We shared our BSF rearing process and the benefits of frass fertiliser with them and discussed how it can support sustainable agriculture in Sabah.
