Turning food waste into valuable resources — Our team collected expired food products from Harrisons Sabah Sdn. Bhd. to support sustainable BSF larvae feed production.

On 22 September 2026, our team visited Harrisons Sabah Sdn. Bhd. to collect expired food products as part of our commitment to sustainable food waste management.

A total of 185 cartons of breads products were collected from Harrisons Sabah Sdn. Bhd. and transported to our BSF facility for further processing.

The collected bread was brought to our BSF facility, where it was carefully sorted and prepared as feed for our Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. Through natural BSF bioconversion, what was once considered waste is transformed into valuable protein-rich insect biomass for animal feed and nutrient-rich frass for soil enrichment.

This process demonstrates how food waste can be redirected from disposal and transformed into useful resources, supporting a more sustainable and circular system.

We are grateful to Harrisons Sabah Sdn. Bhd. for being part of this initiative and for supporting our journey towards turning food waste into valuable resources for a more sustainable future.
