We are proud to join hands with 99 Speedmart, in a corporate social responsibility partnership built around food waste. Instead of sending their expired and damaged goods to landfill, 99 Speedmart entrusts them to us, where our Black Soldier Fly larvae upcycle them into protein-rich biomass and nutrient-rich organic fertiliser — giving these goods a second chance and keeping them out of the waste stream.

Rather than discarding their expired and damaged goods, 99 Speedmart entrusts them to us — giving these goods a second chance instead of sending them to landfill. At our farm, this material is upcycled by our Black Soldier Fly larvae into protein-rich biomass and nutrient-rich organic fertiliser.

It is a simple idea with a real impact: waste that would have ended its life in a landfill is instead returned to productive use, helping to reduce methane emissions and protect our soil and waterways.
